The staff at the front desk were friendly and handled my check-in efficiently.

The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with noticeable stains on the linens and an unkempt bathroom that could use a thorough cleaning.

The beds were comfortable, but roaches crawled in my room, making it hard to relax.

Satisfied with the hotel, it's a cozy base for staying in Alexandria. Quiet rooms, that have essentials you need. The venue met expectation and I would like to stay there on the next trip.

I loved being just a short walk away from Compton Park, where I enjoyed a peaceful stroll among the greenery and also appreciated how close I was to the Alexandria Museum of Art.

Check-in process was delayed, with rooms not ready until 5 PM when they were supposed to be available at 3 PM. Noise from honking cars outside throughout the night made it tough to sleep. The sheets had stains and cigarette burns, and the room appeared unclean with food residue stuck to the walls. Roaches were spotted, and previous guests reported a strong urine smell. The atmosphere felt more like an extended stay for travelers than a hotel.

I almost thought this place would be decent until i discovered the filthy room with blood stains and roach companions, not to mention the air conditioner that leaked all over. I was hoping for a complimentary upgrade for my troubles but ended up with nothing. Should've just stayed in my car. Absoluteley pathetic.

Request a ground floor room if you have mobility issues, as not all preferences may be accommodated.

I enjoyed the hot plate in the counter and the cozy feel of the Budget Double Room, but it wasn't quite as nice as the photos made it seem. I might think twice about returning.
